Cloud Engineer - 1 year contract extendable

Job descriptionDesign, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Build and manage CI / CD pipelines, automation scripts, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible etc.) to streamline deployment processes Ensure cloud systems adhere to security policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices Manage source code repositories using tools such as Bitbucket or Gitlab, integrating them into automated CI / CD workflows Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize cloud performance, availability, and reliability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployment, scaling and performance improvements Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend continuous improvement initiatives Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline At least 3-5 years of practical experience in cloud engineering with GCP strongly preferred Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security and regulatory compliance Hands-on experience with automation, CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) Familiarity with Git-based version control systems such as Bitbucket or GitLab Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless technologies Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments is an advantage Be part of a forward-looking cloud and DevOps team driving digital transformation.
