Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Achieve profitability by negotiating & fixing chemical cargo (though the spot market / COA negotiation)
  • Propose & implement changes to the way to increase and optimize overall result, including but not limited to spot / COA negotiations, cargo allocation and vessel scheduling.
  • Lead precise & regular communication with different stakeholders (charterer, broker, related other parties internally and externally) for smooth operation.
  • Record / update the database of the company and team.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in business, maritime / logistic or supply chain related studies
  • Stable candidate, non-Job hopper
  • 1 to 3 years operations or chartering experience in chemical or tanker preferred
  • Detail and result oriented, proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willing to work in a multi-cultural environment and a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and good attitude
  • Singaporean or PR only
  • Open to fresh Maritime NTU graduates but prefer experienced
