JOB DESCRIPTION
The incumbent must have the competency to perform the following HR activities independently with minimum supervision :
- Manage recruitment and selection activities.
- Manage employment and cessation activities.
- Administer onboarding activities.
- Manage training and development activities.
- Process payroll and overtime payment.
- Administer compensation, benefits, and welfare programs.
- Administer discipline and compliance policy.
- Maintain personnel records and HR information systems.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and work instructions.
- Assist in performance evaluation exercise.
- Assist in HR planning and budget exercise.
- Participate in safety and recreation committee.
- Assist in collective agreement negotiation with Union.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual HR reports.
- Manage HR services for foreign workers from China and Malaysia.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in human resource managementHands-on HR generalist experienceAt least 5 years of working experience in a hi-tech manufacturing environmentIntermediate competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Words, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skillsPrepared to work occasional overtime to meet payroll and project deadlineMeticulous, organized, systematic, and creative problem-solverA team player and individual contributorPositive personality with “Can Do” attitudeWorking experience with human resource information systems such as TimesPay.
