Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist

Are you passionate about helping children find their voice? We’re looking for a dedicated Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at OT FOR KIDS SG . If you have experience supporting children with complex communication needs, we’d love to hear from you!

About the role :

  • Commission-based remuneration (rate to be discussed)
  • Able to work minimally half a day on a weekend and half a day on a weekday (schedule to be discussed)
  • Commit to at least 1 year in OT FOR KIDS SG

  • As a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for the following duties :

  • Conduct comprehensive speech or language assessments for clients using systematic clinical reasoning, forming and validating hypotheses for clients’ functional challenges.
  • Identify and analyze speech, language, and communication disorders related to clients’ functional challenges, applying evidence-based assessment techniques.
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans.
  • Track patient progress and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams by attending administrative meetings and multidisciplinary team clinical discussions.
  • Contribute to the learning goals of a multidisciplinary team by sharing knowledge and expertise through clinical education programs.
  • Engage in continuous learning by participating in clinical education programs and training opportunities.
  • Provide guidance, supervision, and mentorship to students on work attachment programs.
  • Requirements :

  • Possess a Bachelor / Master’s degree in Speech-Language Therapy, recognised by the Singapore Allied Health Profession Council (AHPC).
  • Full registration with the Singapore Allied Health Profession Council.
  • At least 10 years of experience working with children aged 0 to 18 in varied settings, e.g. Early Intervention Programs, Special Education schools, private clinics (note : candidates who do not meet this criteria may be considered, but those who do will be preferred).
  • Competence in AAC assessment and intervention (e.g., PECS, Proloquo2Go, TDSnap, PODD or eye gaze systems).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work closely with families, educators and fellow allied health professionals.
  • Good team player.
  • Open‑minded and willing to adapt to new processes.
