Job descriptionMust be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore Diploma of Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in construction safety Strong knowledge of Singapore's WSH regulations, codes of practice, and risk management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple safety priorities Familiarity with incident reporting systems and safety documentation Certification in risk assessment and safety auditing is an advantage Job Requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer to oversee and implement safety protocols at our construction site in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with Singapore's WSH regulations, promoting a safe working environment, and preventing workplace accidents.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and other relevant regulations
- Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific safety plans and risk assessments. Conduct regular safety inspections, and incident investigations.
- Organize and conduct safety training and toolbox meetings for workers
- Maintain accurate records of safety activities, incidents, and corrective actions
- Advise site management on safety improvements and hazard control measures
- Promote a strong safety culture across all levels of the workforce
