Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for performing daily cleaning and maintenance of restrooms to ensure that they are in a clean and orderly condition
• Thorough cleaning, scrubbing and sanitisation of cubicles, toilets, urinals, mirrors, sinks, taps, and floors
• Clean and disinfect toilet seats, handles, and surrounding areas
• Perform general cleaning duties including but not limited to sweeping, mopping and drying the floor, proper disposal of garbage, and replacement of bin liners regularly, to maintain safety and hygiene
• Replenish restroom supplies when necessary, such as toilet paper, soap, air fresheners, sanitisers and paper towels
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
• Perform routine inspections of restroom facilities to ensure all cleaning tasks meet quality standards
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
• Respond to cleaning requests promptly
• Document cleaning activities as required
• Monitor and touch up restrooms as needed to maintain cleanliness and order
• Ensure restrooms are clean and presentable at all times
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with restroom facility users
• May be required to manage toilet queuing and direct customers to empty cubicles during crowded periods
• Ensure all safety warnings (e.g. wet floor signs) are placed appropriately during cleaning activities
• Handle equipment and chemicals safely, following proper usage guidelines and safety protocols
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and order replenishments when necessary
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols at all times
• Perform other related duties or adhoc task as assigned by the supervisor, including general cleaning and area cleaning of assigned sections of the building
