Job descriptionOperate measurement equipment : Optical comparators Surface roughness testers Hand tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges) Verify tight tolerances (up to ±0.0002" for critical features) Documentation & Compliance Document non-conformances in QRB system Ensure material traceability (heat / lot numbers, certifications) Process Support Validate corrective actions for quality issues Participate in internal audits (AS9100 / Nadcap) Continuous Improvement Support lean quality initiatives (error-proofing, visual controls) Required : 2+ years aerospace inspection experience Proficiency in : Blueprints / specs interpretation Aerospace materials (Inconel, titanium, composites) Preferred : Certifications : ASQ CQI, Nadcap inspection training Knowledge of special processes (plating, NDT, heat treat)

Job Summary
We seek a detail-oriented QA Inspector to ensure the highest quality standards for precision aerospace components. You'll perform inspections using advanced measurement tools, maintain compliance documentation, and uphold our zero-defect culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Precision Inspection
Conduct first-article, in-process, and final inspections per AS9102 requirements
CMM (PC-DMIS / Metrolog)
Complete FAIR reports and maintain inspection records
Assist engineers with root cause analysis of defects
Suggest improvements to inspection methodologies
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Diploma
GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
CMM programming experience
