Job Description
Our Client, a subsidiary of a Japanese trading company, is seeking an Officer (Accounting Assistant) focusing on LC operation / negotiation and accounting responsibilities.
Reporting to : Assistant Manager / Assistant General Manager
Responsibilities 】
- Check and confirm the accuracy of amount, and documents (such as L / C, Invoice, B / L, Packing list and other documents, etc.) submitted by trade staff are in accordance to the LC’s requirement before submitting document to bank for bills negotiation.
- Ensure the completeness of documents before preparing the Bills of Exchange Application and submit to authorize manager for signing.
- Ensure Import bills are promptly settled to that Trade supporting staff can prepare Export bills documents for negotiation timely.
- Monitor overdue of Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Ensure accuracy for all process including data posted in the accounting system and in creation of payment instructions in e-banking system.
- Support cash management and FX booking with bank & perform bank reconciliation monthly.
- Handle partner and beneficiary maintenance in accounting system and e-banking system.
- Perform any ad hoc assignment from the Assistant General Manager (AGM) and Assistant Manager

Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.At least 1-2 years of experience in Letter of Credit (LC) negotiation / operations and partial accountingProficient in MS Office applications and familiar with accounting software.A detailed and organized person who can work with colleagues across our different offices.Available to start in September / OctoberAdvantageous)
