Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintenance Strategy Development : Create and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
- Equipment Oversight : Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment and machinery.
- Project Management : Manage projects related to equipment installation, upgrades, and modifications, from inception to completion.
- Safety & Compliance : Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental procedures.
- Staff & Contractor Supervision : Manage and supervise maintenance technicians and oversee the work of external contractors.
- Budget Management : Develop and manage budgets for maintenance, equipment, and projects.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records, reports, and technical documentation pertaining to plant operations and maintenance.
- Collaboration : Work closely with production and other departments to ensure efficient plant operations and timely project completion.
Requirements
Education : A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is typically required.Technical Skills : Systems Knowledge : Strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, including hydraulic and control systems.
Maintenance Tools : Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Troubleshooting : Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems and equipment malfunctions. Methodologies : Experience with methodologies like root cause analysis , Lean Manufacturing , and Six Sigma is beneficial.
