What the role is
MAS’ Data Analytics & Engineering Division (DAE) is a specialised team within the Data Technology and Architecture (DTA) Department within the Technology Group (TG) in MAS.
DAE’s primary purpose is to partner internal MAS functions to generate business value through the enablement of effective and efficient use of data driven insights for business value creation. This is achieved through effective strategies, strong in-house development capability, standardization of processes, tooling enablement, establishing a product development mindset, promoting knowledge sharing within MAS and complementary external collaborations.
As a DAE Product Manager, you will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments.
What you will be working on
Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management, from conceptualisation to launch and retirement, ensuring product relevance and value proposition throughout its lifetime
Manage product development using Agile methodologies, facilitating ceremonies, and analysing project metrics to ensure successful delivery
Oversee project management activities, including risk assessment, resource allocation, and adherence to quality and security standards
Identify and remediate gaps in operational procedures and processes to enhance system efficiency
Manage and troubleshoot technical components, applying sound judgment to resolve routine problems and incidents
Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with ICT Governance Policies and Standards
Oversee ICT Governance audits and reviews to maintain adherence to best practices
What we are looking for
Proven experience in product management, with a track record of successfully launching and managing products in a technology-driven environment
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles
Experience in managing Day 2 operations for Data Science platforms, including SLA and SLO management, logs / accounts review, and SOPs creation
Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with ICT Governance Policies and Standards
Proven experience in technology operations and maintenance within a financial services environment
Strong understanding of ICT governance frameworks and best practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product features, and troubleshoot complex technical issues
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across various levels of the organisation
Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge bases
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
ITIL Expert / Master, PMP and CSM / CSPO certification would be advantageous
