Job descriptionParticipate in all aspects of Fire, Life, Health and Safety procedures and practices Review talent capability and develop high potential employees for the department Identify training needs of the department and implement a training plan in conjunction with the department heads to close gaps Manage engineering staff including payroll, scheduling, performance evaluation and disciplinary procedures Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering of Building Facilities Engineering 5 years of experience in managing an Engineering department in a medium- or large-size company Knowledge of energy management and infrastructures of buildings Possess at least 1 year experience in project management Prior international hotel experience
Position Overview
The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the team to achieve exceptional standards, and develop preventative maintenance and resource management programs that ensure a safe and welcoming hotel for all guests and colleagues. The individual will be responsible of handling multi-faceted projects
The Role
Engineering Operations
- Assist to prepare strategic plan for the commissioning and handover of the hotel components
- Implement engineering policy & procedures developed by Capella Hotel Group
- Manage engineering preventive maintenance programs
- Assist to establish and manage the annual CAPEX plan and budget
- Assist to oversee the strategic direction of general projects related to the enhancement of the Hotel. The project management covers the areas of planning, administration, implementation and evaluation of financial results of project
- Conduct training and demonstration on various systems such as key system for rooms, A / V equipment, lighting system etc
- Assist the Engineering management in any related matters not limited to the above.
