OPERATOR / SUPERVISOR

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description :

• Perform duties as WT Operator or WT Shunter in Depot, TSA, Station and Viaduct Trackwork Area
• Adhere to WTDC instruction when shunting of Rail Vehicle within Trackwork Area
• Work closely with WTS, ensure safe movement and obey WTS hand signal / radio instructions
• Perform BPCT, various brake function tests, coupling / uncoupling, Service Vehicle Load Gauge checks, apply Target Discs, Wheel Scotches, SLB, hand signal. Liaise with WTDC and TPIC
• Sign In / Out Radio, Loco Log Card, Checklist, Hand signal Equipment and Loco Keys for work and return them after used
• Perform duty (interchangeable) of WTO / WTS as per WT Coordinator’s roster
• Removal / Re-instating Sector Limit Boards, Red Flashing Lights, throwing & securing of points, Line Clear upon WTDC instruction
• Assist in the OJT Training of other WTO / WTS attached to his Consist
• Perform any duties assigned by the WTM or his Delegate
