Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible and in-charge of the individual project;
- Ensures QEHS control of works as per the drawings and specifications, method statements, Works Quality Plan requirements and In-House EHS Rules & Regulations for the block(s) or area(s) he or she is assigned to;
- Responsible for accompanying the RTO / RE / Consultants during inspection, and ensuring compliance against client and CONQUAS requirements;
- Oversees the concrete cube-taking process for the compressive strength tests, and ensures proper compaction and concrete curing conditions for compliance with the specified compressive strength requirements;
- Monitors concrete cube test results and maintains such laboratory test reports in file;
- Responsible for processing and upkeep of timely inspection records, as applicable;
- Responsible for the periodical summary of COW / RE inspection failures of block(s) / area(s) and subsequent submission to the PM on site for analysis;
- Responsible for reporting on accomplished schedules to the Project Manager.;
- Responsible for the control and coordination of foremen and leaders;
- Responsible for QEHS corrective and preventive actions as requested by the Project Manager, WSH Officer;
- Properly trained in QEHS Policy, Objectives, impact / risk assessment, relevant safe work procedure / operational control procedure, management programme, applicable legal and other requirements.
