Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer (E&I) – 2 Years Contract – Jurong Island

Responsibilities

• Execute daily electrical activities such as troubleshooting, maintenance, and checking equipment reliability.
• Perform routine corrective and preventive maintenance for site improvement.
• Prepare and review risk assessment submitted by contractors and conduct toolbox meeting with contractors to identify hazards before commencement of any electrical and maintenance work.
• Plan and implement annual preventive maintenance and electrical schedule for equipment and machinery and upkeep the maintenance record including arrange for inspection as per statutory requirements
• Supervise contractors performing electrical and maintenance jobs in the terminal to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
• Maintain proper Standard Operating Procedures and records.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Experience in Oil & Gas industry is preferred
• At least 5 years of working experience in electrical repairs and mechanical maintenance.
• Able to read and understand electrical circuit drawings, instrumentation and control system diagrams.
• Able to perform troubleshooting and confident in deciding corrective measures
• Able to prepare layout, sectional views for tender for projects
• Comfortable with working location in Jurong Island
• Able to work under pressure within tight timelines.
• Experience in similar industry will be an added advantage.
