Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
Coordination of Structural Drawings :
- Review structural design drawings and documents submitted by the consultant for constructability, compliance with project specifications and potential clashes with other disciplines. Responsible for timely scheduling and issuance of FW / CBP drawings and sub cons structural shop drawings align with project schedule and construction activities.
- Liaison with Consultants and Subcontractors :
- Working closely with structural consultants / architectural / M&E engineers and various subcontractors to resolve structural / technical issues and ensure smooth integration of different disciplines.
Statutory Approvals :
Assisting in the preparation and submission of structural drawings / documents to relevant authorities to obtain necessary approvals such as Corenet X Gateways, Building Plan (BP), Structural Plan (ST), Works Permit (WP), Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) and Certificate of Statutory Completion (CSC). Keep track of the status of submissions and liaise with authorities to expedite the approval process.Technical Support and Problem Solving :Provide technical support to the site team on structural-related matters, interpreting design drawings and resolving site queries. Liaise with the structural consultant to address site issues and implement design changes or clarifications as needed.Documentation and Communication :
Maintaining proper documentation of design changes, site instructions (CVIs / RFIs / SDAs) and correspondences. Attending technical meetings and Internal / External design coordination meetings to report outcomes and ensure effective communication among project stakeholders.Building Information Modelling (BIM) Coordination / VR Walkthrough :Familiar with Revit / Naviswork / Enscape to coordinate structural and consultant drawings, identify clashes and ensure consistency in construction documents.As-Built BIM Model / Drawings :
Compiling and handing over structural as-built BIM Model / drawings upon project completion.Qualification :
A Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering or a related field.Minimum 3 years' experience as a Structural Design Engineer, Project Engineer or Structural Coordinator on Design & Build condominium projects for main contractors. Candidates with C&S consultant firm experience and design background will be preferred.Perform structural analysis and simulations using software such as ACAD, Revit,similar tools.Familiar with local authorities (URA / BCA / NEA / PUB / SCDF / LTA / Nparks) requirements.Ability builds up good relationships with consultants, work independently and as part of a team.Tell employers what skills you have
