Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

Design, deploy, and configure scalable and highly available AWS infrastructure including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and other core AWS services
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CLI
Monitor and maintain the health and performance of AWS resources, troubleshooting issues and implementing proactive measures to ensure system reliability
Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud infrastructure with application code and ensure seamless deployments
Implement security best practices to protect AWS environments, including identity and access management, network security, and data encryption
Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and continuity
Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and make recommendations to continually optimise the cloud environment

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a System Engineer or DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS cloud technologies

Proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing highly scalable and secure AWS infrastructure using services like EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and CloudFormation

Excellent understanding of cloud architecture patterns, networking, security, and best practices

Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation, and experience with automation and CI / CD pipelines

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in a dynamic cloud environment

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
