The KKH Psychosocial Trauma Support Service (PTSS) is adynamic team, who provide psychological and emotional support tohelp women, children and their families recover from traumaticexperiences. Apart from hospital-based clinical work at KKH, PTSSis also involved in enhancing the capacity and capability ofSingapore's community to provide post crisis / traumapsycho-emotionalsupport and interventions through its community projectwork.
We are looking for a fulltime ClinicalPsychologist who is interested to work in a supportive environment,with opportunities for growth in both clinical work andcommunity-basedproject work. The applicant would also be looking tocontribute to the growth and development of the field of childtrauma in Singapore.
As a PTSS ClinicalPsychologist, you will be involved in :
- Hospital-based work : Specialised psycho-emotionalassessments and interventions for women, children and families withtrauma-related concerns in inpatient and / or outpatientsettings.
- Community-based project work : Conducting talks and training in the area of child trauma andsupport, and working together with the community on increasedpreparedness to respond to crisis and traumas for children andfamilies in the community.
- Clinical training,professional individual and group supervision will be provided todevelop your professional growth and expertise in the area oftraumawork.
Requirements :
MPsych in Clinical Psychology.Proficiency in English (spoken and written), possesseffective interpersonal skills and good psychological reportwriting skills.Possess relevantqualifications to obtain registration as a full member with arecognized professional body (e.g.,Singapore Psychological Society,Australian Psychological Society etc.)Relevant clinical and supervision experiencePast clinical experience in child and / or trauma work isdesirable but not a pre-requisite to be eligible for thisposition.Required for at least 4 years ofrelevant clinical experience in providing clinical supervision isdesirable to be considered for Senior Psychologistposition.If you have an interest intrauma work, and shareour passion for making a meaningful impact toour clients, their families and the community, we invite you to bea part of our multi-disciplinary team.
