Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

Accounting System Management

  • Administer and maintain the company’s accounting system (Oracle NetSuite).
  • Review system entries for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Monitor system performance and liaise with vendors / IT to resolve technical issues.
  • Lead and support system upgrades, implementations, and integrations with other platforms.
  • Streamline and automate finance processes through optimal system use.
  • Establish and monitor internal controls within the accounting system to safeguard data integrity.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Lead, manage and prepare monthly doctors commissions process
  • Review and implement doctors commission policies and practices
  • Assist in treasury matters including treasury operations, monitoring cashflows and preparing payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Support strategic planning, cost analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for executive leadership.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and analysis.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of financial policies, SOPs, system and processes.
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Process-oriented mindset with an interest in system improvements and technology adoption.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for work improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite will be an added advantage.
