We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Podiatrist to join our team.

About the Role

  • This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a qualified podiatrist to lead a team of professionals and provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing patients referred for podiatry, implementing treatment plans, and applying specialized knowledge and skills.
  • They will work independently to provide care and manage patient records accurately.
  • Additionally, they will report to referring doctors and other medical team members, document patient records accurately, and charge patients correctly.
  • Other responsibilities include updating individual performance statistical records regularly, complying with clinical and service standards, and assisting in supervising podiatrists in the workgroup.
  • Additional Responsibilities

  • The Senior Podiatrist will also collaborate with healthcare team members and participate in case conferences, assist in preparing monthly performance reports for the workgroup, monitor key performance indicators for the workgroup, co-lead clinical research projects related to the workgroup, prepare and update therapy equipment inventory for the workgroup, review and update clinical protocols and SOPs, manage projects assigned to the workgroup, co-lead departmental activities, develop and promote new clinical services, assist in budgeting for the workgroup, develop and coordinate clinical education programs for podiatry students, induct new podiatrists into the workgroup, contribute to departmental training programs, hospital talks, and external events, identify staff training needs in the workgroup, navigate partnerships with healthcare practitioners in NUH, and stay up-to-date on podiatry knowledge and skills.
  • Requirements

  • To be considered for this role, candidates must have a recognized degree in Podiatry, postgraduate qualifications in relevant specialties preferred, and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, supervisory and coaching skills, a service-oriented and customer-focused approach, results-driven attitude, and team player are essential requirements.
  • Candidates must also be competent in IT skills (Microsoft Excel / Word / Access / PowerPoint).
