Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our third-party cold storage facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth warehouse workflow, staff supervision, customer satisfaction, and cross-functional coordination. During the startup phase, the manager will also be expected to contribute to the creation and implementation of the warehouse’s operational and commercial model.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations Management
- Oversee daily inbound and outbound activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, dispatch, and inventory control
- Ensure cold storage temperature is consistently maintained in accordance with food safety standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, including equipment breakdowns or discrepancies
People & Process Supervision
Lead and manage warehouse staff, including supervisors, forklift drivers, and general workersPlan work schedules, assign duties, conduct performance reviews, and enforce safety complianceImplement and improve SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for warehouse activitiesCustomer & Stakeholder Handling
Liaise with clients on delivery / collection arrangements, complaints, and service customizationCoordinate with transporters, suppliers, contractors, and internal departments to ensure service excellenceMaintain high standards of customer satisfaction and operational transparencyBusiness Development Support (Startup Phase)
Contribute to designing operational workflows, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing modelsSupport the implementation of warehouse management systems (WMS)Participate in facility layout planning, workflow optimization, and staff recruitment during the setup periodKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in cold chain, food, or FMCG sectorsPrior experience managing both local and foreign workers on the warehouse floorWorking knowledge of WMS, inventory systems, and temperature-controlled operationsFluent in English and able to communicate in Mandarin or other languages is a plusStrong leadership, hands-on approach, attention to detail, and high stress toleranceWilling to be involved in both strategic and ground-level tasksTell employers what skills you have
