Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
- Site Management : Oversee daily operations, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities.
- Staff Management : Supervise and train workers and subcontractors, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support.
- Safety and Quality : Enforce safety regulations, conduct quality inspections, and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Progress Monitoring : Track project progress, identify potential issues, and take corrective action.
- Communication : Maintain clear communication with management, subcontractors, and clients.
- Problem Solving : Address and resolve any issues or conflicts on site.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and safety inspections.
Specific Tasks May Include :
Scheduling and Planning : Developing work schedules, allocating resources, and coordinating activities.Material Management : Ensuring materials are available and used efficiently.Budget Management : Monitoring project costs and ensuring they stay within budget.Quality Control : Inspecting work to ensure it meets project specifications and safety standards.Safety Training : Providing safety training to workers and ensuring they follow safety procedures.Reporting : Preparing daily reports, progress updates, and other management documentation.Skills and Qualifications :
Experience in construction management or supervision.Strong leadership and communication skills.Knowledge of construction practices, safety regulations, and building codes.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents.Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.Good organizational skills and attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications :
