Join us as Manager, Private Assets Services at AIA Investment

Management!

AIA is significantly increasing its

exposure to private assets and as a result is designing and

implementing the infrastructure and support needed to service this

increased scale and complexity. We are looking for a Manager to be

part of the team with responsibility for managing and overseeing

the operational support functions for AIAIM's private

investments.

Responsibilities

1. This position will ensure operational

functions for private asset investments are performed on a timely

and accurate basis. This include, but not limited

to :

Process and manage the processes

related to capital call and distribution notices received from

GPs.

Compute, monitor and communicate funding

requirements of the various portfolios and funds including credit

facilities to ensure timely downstream of funds to facilitate

investment and capital calls.

End-to-end

transaction management for new investments.

Ensure proper record keeping of private asset

transactions in the Portfolio Management Systems.

Handling new investments setup in Portfolio Management

Systems.

Participate in investor onboarding

activities such as customer KYC, subscription form, commitment

agreement and FATCA / CRS declarations.

Participate in new fund launches, fund closings and

rebalancing / adjustment activities.

Work

closely with Core Operations team and the service providers

including the custodian, fund administrator, transfer agent,

valuation agent and auditor to ensure tasks are completed on timely

manner, issue is handled or escalated to next level.

Guide and train team members and lead in assigned

projects.

  • Handle fund audits.

Oversight of both internal and external service

providers.

2. The incumbent will

work closely with the Alternative / Private Assets portfolio

management teams (Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit,

and Real Estate), Company's internal clients, external fund

managers, general partners and service providers to ensure that

services are being performed and are meeting

expectations.

3. Work with Group Investment

Services and AIAIM Investment Services teams to enhance and

implement the target state support model at a detailed operational

level for private investments as well as identify additional

opportunities to enhance processes and workflows, improve

efficiencies, and minimize operational risks.

4.

Use subject matter expertise while working with internal

stakeholders and functional groups to plan and manage change, to

collaborate on resolving issues, and to formulate action plans due

to market developments.

5. Work with the team in

establishing and maintaining proper process documentation in

alignment with the operational control environment as well as

contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of all

operational processes.

6. Work with Investment

Service teams and provide subject matter inputs into the fund

structure design (share classes, dividend distribution, performance

fee) and ensure fund documentation and legal agreements are

appropriate and updated.

7. Participate in,

contribute to, and provide support to Group and Company projects

involving private asset

investments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business,

Accounting, Finance, or related field.

At

least 8 years' experience, with 4 years' in a managerial role

within asset management or private asset firms.

Strong knowledge of private asset operations, fund

structures (e.g., SICAV, VCC), and investment processes.

Experience in leading and managing private investments

related projects, including system changes and

enhancements.

Ability to design and implement

new or enhanced processes and controls.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication

abilities.

Proficient in Excel, Word, and

PowerPoint, preferably also in eFront.

Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to perform under

pressure.
