Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Plan and optimize manufacturing processes, including fixture and gauge design.
Prepare NC programs for 5-axis milling (Aluminium, Titanium, Inconel 718), including tooling design and selection.
Develop probe programming for error proofing, datum setting, and dimension checks.
Control machining cycle times and overall costs (cycle time, tooling, cutters).
Implement Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing for continuous improvement.
Plan and schedule operations using ERP systems.
Handle quotations and manage production programs.
Troubleshoot non-conformance issues with the MRB team.
Conduct test cuts for new products and improve existing production parts.
Perform ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in 5-axis programming using Mastercam.

Strong knowledge of 5-axis machining, macro programs, error proofing, and machine codes.

Proficient in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

Effective communication and presentation abilities.

Willing to travel overseas for test cuts as needed
