Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Adecco is partnering with a tech MNC and we are looking for a Critical Facilities Engineer (Data Centre).
  • This role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, vendor coordination, incident response, and support for infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with standards and operational reliability.
  • The role will start off as a 12 months contract role.

The Job :

Facility & Infrastructure Maintenance :

  • Perform specialized preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of critical systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, life safety, BMS).
  • Recommend and implement energy efficiency and reliability improvements

    • Vendor Management :

  • Coordinate and supervise vendors on critical maintenance tasks
  • Review and update technical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with work standards and approval processes.

    • Incident & Site Support :

  • Monitor systems, respond to alarms / incidents
  • Conduct root cause analysis, identify risks (e.g., SPOFs)
  • Recommend corrective measures.
  • Prepare and maintain permits, MOPs, and site logs.

    • Projects & Work Orders :

  • Complete skilled work requests, circuit installations, infrastructure upgrades, and end-of-life replacements.
  • Support and troubleshoot auxiliary systems and recommend future projects.

    • Collaboration & Mentorship :

  • Work closely with team members to resolve issues, share expertise, mentor junior staff
  • Support inventory management of critical parts.

    • The Talent :

  • 3–5 years of experience in critical facilities, preferably within data centers, production lines, power plants, or pharmaceutical environments .
  • Strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering .
  • Hands-on experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) .
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, tracking, and documentation.
