Roles & Responsibilities

Join Micron as an Incoming Quality Control Engineer in Singapore and be a key part of a team that is redefining the global information landscape!

Job Responsibilities

As an Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Engineer, you'll work with local and global teams to maintain material quality, support quality systems, align with objectives, engage in initiatives, and drive improvement.
This role supports quality documentation, acts as the site quality liaison, and encourages collaboration.

Responsibilities and Tasks :

Ensure consistent quality for all incoming materials, including but not limited to, HBM materials.

Continuously improve IQC business processes.

Qualify new IQC tools.

Develop and detail IQC procedures and establish operation and preventive maintenance systems.

Set up and maintain SAP QM for incoming materials.

Implement Statistical Process Control monitoring programs and reaction mechanisms.

Handle material disposition through the incoming material MRB (iMRB).

Support First Article Inspection activities for new materials.

Work with collaborators worldwide to manage supplier quality.

Collaborate efficiently with both external and internal teams, maintaining a positive, customer-focused attitude.

Participate in on-site supplier audits as needed.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have :

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required

Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills

Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels

Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning

Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus

Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable

Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.

Develops, evaluates, revises, and applies technical quality assurance protocols / methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products. Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations. Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary. Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed. May assure compliance to in-house and / or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs and ISO regulations. Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records.
