Key Responsibilities of a Construction Site Supervisor :
1. Supervising Daily Operations
- Oversee and coordinate on-site activities.
- Ensure work is progressing according to schedule and specifications.
- Monitor the performance of workers and subcontractors.
2. Safety Management
Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.Conduct safety briefings and ensure the use of protective equipment.Investigate and report incidents or accidents.3. Quality Control
Ensure that work meets the required standards and specifications.Inspect materials and workmanship.Address quality issues promptly.4. Communication & Coordination
Act as a liaison between workers, project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.Communicate project goals, deadlines, and changes to the site crew.Report progress and problems to senior management.5. Resource Management
Manage tools, materials, and equipment.Prevent wastage and ensure materials are used efficiently.Order supplies and materials as needed.6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily logs of site activities.Track attendance, delays, incidents, and inspections.Submit reports to project managers or site engineers.7. Problem Solving
Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site.Make decisions on the spot to keep the project moving.8. Compliance
