Your Role
As our Business Development Partner, your mission is to help us build the earliest stages of our enterprise client pipeline by :
- Leveraging your network to introduce and qualify warm leads among private wealth managers, family offices, EAMs, boutique research firms, and institutional investors.
- Identifying early adopters interested in pilot projects or co‑development partnerships.
- Supporting discovery conversations with the founder to assess client needs and strategic fit.
- Providing market feedback on positioning, pricing, and go‑to‑market approach.
- Optionally assisting in proposal discussions and partnership structuring.
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in the wealth management or investment space, either as a practitioner (analyst, PM, or advisor) or in a sales or relationship management role — ideally with familiarity in how investment tools and research solutions are evaluated or adopted.A strong network of portfolio managers, relationship managers, or C‑level contacts across boutique investment firms, external asset managers (EAMs), family offices, and mid‑sized asset managers.Connections or prior experience working with research boutiques, advisory firms, or fund administrators — especially those exploring AI‑driven differentiation in investment research or client engagement.Familiarity with how investment research and insights are produced, consumed, and monetized in practice.An entrepreneurial and self‑directed mindset, comfortable operating independently in an early‑stage environment.Curiosity and enthusiasm for how AI and technology are transforming finance and decision‑making.Scope : Warm introductions, lead qualification, and initial discovery support.Compensation
Base Offer : Payment per qualified lead (minimum of 10 qualified leads over the contract period).Bonus / Commission : Additional success‑based incentives for converted pilot or commercial engagements.Conversion Option : Top‑performing partners may be offered a retainer‑based or permanent role with strategic sales responsibilities.Deliver a minimum of 10 qualified leads meeting pre‑agreed criteria (sector, role, and intent) over an agreed timeframe.Conduct or participate in 3–5 discovery calls per month.Provide market insights and feedback to inform the founder’s GTM strategy.Why This Role Matters
