A major financial institution continues to strengthen their aviation franchise in Asia and seek to hire an experienced aviation finance banker.

Responsibilities

This hire will contribute to the bank’s business growth in the aviation finance sector. This involves originating new business opportunities from airlines, leasing companies, advisory service firms and aviation-related institutions in Asia. You will originate, structure and execute financing deals end to end, working closely with the aviation finance team in Head Office. You will manage and develop relationships with existing and prospective clients and keep abreast of market insights and intelligence, supporting business growth in the aviation sector.

Requirements

The ideal candidate holds a Degree in Finance or related discipline and have 10 – 20 years of relevant aviation finance experience, including a proven track record in originating new business transactions and successfully executing transactions in this industry. You have deep knowledge of lease financing structures, loan financing products and legal and documentation knowledge, enabling you to critically assess transaction and credit risks, leading to successful credit approvals from Head Office. To succeed in this role, you have to be driven, resourceful, independent and thrive in a team based environment.
