Job Description
Our Client is an electronics trading company that undertakes the sale of semiconductors, electronic components, and electronic equipment. This role of an Assistant Accounting Manager is responsible for supporting and overseeing daily accounting operations, assisting in monthly closings, audit preparation, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
You will be reporting to the MD and HQ.
Responsibilities 】
- Handle and review full set of accounts, including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
- Prepare financial reports, supporting schedules, and account analysis
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and statutory regulations (e.g. GST, corporate tax)
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
- Assist in maintaining internal controls and improving accounting processes
- Supervise junior accounting staff

Requirement

Degree in Accountancy, or Diploma in Accountancy with a recognized professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA, CIMA)At least 5 years of hands-on experience in full set of accounts and general accounting functionsPrior experience in leading or supervising an accounting teamStrong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and local tax regulationsExcellent communication skills and a high level of professionalismAdvantageous)
Familiarity with SUN Accounting SystemPrior experience working in Japanese companies or in a Japanese business environmentEnglish Level
