Roles & Responsibilities
Contract duration : Immediate - 10th Dec 2025 (Might continue in 2026 after Dec school holidays)
Working Hours : Mondays - Fridays 8am - 12pm (might extend hours if needed)
Salary : $21 / hr
Job Scope :
- Promote students’ pastoral well-being in collaboration with teachers and the school management team
- Supervise students in line with the school’s behaviour and discipline policies, ensuring their welfare at all times.
- Complete student observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Administer basic first aid when required and promptly report health or safety concerns.
- Engage children in meaningful play and interactions that support language development and deeper thinking.
- Collaborate with class teachers to plan, deliver, and review developmentally appropriate lessons that promote children’s holistic growth.
- Assist in managing daily routines, classroom transitions, and educational activities.
- Anticipate and meet the organisational needs of the class.
- Prepare learning materials and resources, ensuring supplies are maintained.
- Liaise with parents on organisational matters when needed.
- Work with the class teacher to create a welcoming, engaging, and well-organised learning environment.
- Support with setting up and clearing away equipment, displays, and learning materials.
- Provide regular feedback to teachers on educational and pastoral matters.
- Communicate confidently with colleagues across all key stages.
- Support communication with parents, responding to queries and ensuring they receive timely information.
General
Contribute to wider school activities and assist in other duties as required.Commit to ongoing professional learning and development.Actively participate in team meetings and staff training sessions.Requirements :
