Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire Mechanical & Electrical production process, ensuring timely delivery of projects in line with customer requirements, quality standards, and budgetary controls. This role involves coordinating with the engineering, sales, purchasing, and QA teams to ensure smooth operations from receipt of engineering documents to delivery and customer acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Control

• Assist the Manager in reviewing and validating engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documents to ensure accuracy prior to production.
• Contribute to developing, updating, and monitoring production schedules aligned with client delivery requirements.
• Work closely with the Purchasing team to verify material specifications, delivery timelines, and supplier commitments.
• Anticipate and highlight potential bottlenecks in manpower, material, or equipment availability, and propose corrective actions.
• Support capacity planning to balance multiple project demands.
