    My client is renowned in the Pharmaceutical market, specialising in the provision of innovative solutions (eg. excipients and drug delivery systems) that enhance the efficacy and stability of pharmaceutical formulations.They have a strong expertise in Advanced Materials, an extension of what they are globally recognised for - being in the Speciality Chemicals and Additives segment.

    Job Description

    • Establish strong collaboration with global Pharmaceutical & Nutraceutical teams to align global and regional strategies, focusing on market development and technology transfer.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify unmet needs in APAC sub-regions and sub-segments, driving innovation projects and new product development through customer interviews and blueprinting.
    • Develop and implement regional Pharmaceutical & Nutraceutical strategy : defining priorities, market share targets, and resource allocation for key accounts and applications.
    • Drive product portfolio management, including competitive analysis, value-based pricing strategies, and margin optimisation in targeted sectors.
    • Lead business development initiatives and manage the innovation pipeline, fostering open innovation collaborations / customer engagement events and overseeing new product launches and regional marketing activities.
    • The Successful Applicant

    • Comfortable with an Individual Contributor position, managing Marketing activities and campaigns across the APAC region.
    • Comfortable with about 30% of regional travel.
    • About 8 years of B2B Marketing and / or Business Development experience; with strong industrial exposure in the Pharmaceutical or Personal Care industries.
    • Proficient in developing, managing, and executing commercially-driven activities (eg. value-chain analysis, customer-needs analysis, value proposition etc).
    • Strong background knowledge in Speciality Chemicals, Advanced Materials in Life Sciences, Additives and related businesses to understand the technical jargons of products and solutions in this industry.
