Head of Finance/ Financial Controller (ERP, GST, Commodity Trading)

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the financial operations of the commodity trading company.
• Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the company's growth and profitability.
• Manage and optimize the company's financial resources, including cash flow, working capital, and investment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
• Lead the finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and support for their professional development.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive financial and operational performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
• Experience in the commodity trading industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record of financial analysis and strategic planning.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to senior management and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
