Roles & Responsibilities
Conyers is a leading international law firm with a broad client base including FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies, international finance houses and asset managers. The firm advises on Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands laws, from offices in those jurisdictions and in the key financial centres of Hong Kong, London and Singapore.
What Will You Do
You will work very closely with our disputes & restructuring director and lawyers and your responsibilities will include but not limited to :
- Provide full secretarial and administrative support to the disputes and restructuring team
- Prepare correspondences, engagement letters and legal papers
- Open new matters, conduct conflict and KYC searches, attending to KYC-related correspondences, and coordinate with Compliance and Finance teams to ensure compliance with internal procedures
- Prepare, format and engross legal documents
- Monitor deadlines; efficient file and database management
- Prepare client invoices
- Expense claims processing, travel arrangements
- Maintain and manage contact list, liaise with internal and external contacts
- Coordinate and prepare client meetings, purchase of F&B for client meetings, preparation of refreshments, attend to guests
- Run personal or administrative errands
What You’ll Need
3 years of legal secretarial experience with either an offshore firm or a major local or international firm in SingaporeHighly organised, resourceful, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasksFluent in English, Mandarin and other language skills a plusApplications are to be submited on mycareersfuture only .
