Job description

Job Description

  • Prepare and cook meals (i.e. lunch, tea and dinner) according to planned menu and / or specific diets of the residents whenever required
  • Ensure ingredients for meals are properly cooked and kept in a most hygienic condition
  • Ensure quantity for every meal is sufficient for the residents and the staff to prevent wastage
  • Responsible for washing of cutlery / utensils after every meal
  • Ensure cleanliness at food preparation area, stove, kitchen floor, utensils, cooking equipment etc.
  • Maintenance of refrigerator in the most hygienic condition (wash, clean and clear expired / rotten food)
  • Perform stock take (count and record cooking ingredients / items taken out from store)
  • Responsible for the ordering of all raw ingredients / dry goods / provisions / for cooking weekly (including daily vegetables and meats)
  • Person in charge for the keys to the store, refrigerator and dry goods cupboard

Requirements 岗位要求

  • Primary / Secondary School / GCE 'N' or 'O' Level, Professional Certificate / NITEC
  • GCE'N'或'O'级专业证书 / NITEC
  • Minimum 1 year working experience
  • 1年的工作经验
  • Possess a current basic food hygiene certificate would be an advantage.
  • Motivated with positive attitude to learn
  • Cooperative and helpful with other team members
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, eve of public holidays and public holidays
  • Qualifications
