We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Legal Counsel with 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience to join our in-house legal team. The successful candidate will provide legal advice and support across a broad range of business activities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while enabling business objectives.

Responsibilities

Provide general legal advice and support, including but not limited to :

• Contract Management : draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including vendor, customer, and product documentation.
• Legal Advisory : provide timely and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters, including corporate and commercial issues.
• Dispute Resolution : manage and coordinate dispute resolution, litigation, and claims, with external counsel where necessary.
• Risk Management : identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies or solutions relating to the operations of the bank to protect the Bank’s interests.
• Collaboration : participate in project working groups and provide advice and inputs for policies and procedures.
• Legislative Developments : monitor and advise on developments in local laws and regulations.
• Training : conduct legal training for employees as required.
