Description

Collect and sort library materials by libraries, categories and sub-categories Prepare the sorted materials for delivery to libraries which includes transferring of packed boxes to designated pallet, stretch-wrap full pallets and updating of stock cards Maintain records of the packed library materials by categories. Prepare Delivery Orders and ensure correct number of pallets are released to transporter Pick and pack library materials according to the pick lists provided and check that the library materials are in good physical condition. Scan library materials picked for delivery at the NLB borrowing station provided and pack them into bundles as indicated in the pick lists Print mailing labels and ensure that all packing and labelling are done accurately to avoid error in deliveries. Receive returned library materials and scan them at the Book Sorting Station. Sort the returned library materials into the respective package numbers and shelve at the correct location on the racks Use of pallet jack to transfer pallets for storage, shift pallets to maximise storage and move loaded pallets to the holding area for delivery collection.
