Roles & Responsibilities
SabNewCo Pte. Ltd. is a wholly owned entity of SGX-listed Sabana Industrial REIT. SabNewCo will soon assume the role of the new internalised manager of Sabana Industrial REIT.
We are seeking a Finance Executive (Real Estate / Property Management) for the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Billings
- Prepare and issue rental invoices, service charges, utilities, and other recoverable costs to tenants in accordance with lease agreements
- Ensure billing accuracy and timeliness across all properties under management
- Coordinate with Leasing and Property Management teams to verify lease terms, rental adjustments, and billing exceptions
- Maintain complete and accurate billing records for audit and compliance purposes
Collections
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding tenant paymentsCommunicate with tenants to resolve payment issues and disputes professionallyGenerate and send reminders, statements of accounts, and collection noticesEscalate overdue accounts to management and assist in enforcement or legal recovery actionsMaintain and update AR aging reports, highlighting risk accounts and collection statusPayments
Process vendor invoices and staff claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and contractual termsPrepare payment vouchers and execute payments via cheque, GIRO, or online banking platformsReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with suppliers or service providersMaintain proper documentation and filing of payment records for audit and internal controlBank Reconciliation
Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all property bank accounts to ensure cash balances are accurately reflectedInvestigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and accounting recordsEnsure timely posting of bank transactions including receipts, payments, and bank chargesReporting & Compliance
Support month-end closing activities including preparation of AR / AP schedules, reconciliations, and financial reportsAssist in internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and explanationsEnsure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GST, property tax)Other Duties
Participate in system enhancements and process improvement initiativesSupport ad-hoc finance projects and assignments as required by managementKey Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field1–2 years of relevant experience in real estate finance or property managementFamiliarity with property management systems (e.g., Yardi) and MS ExcelStrong attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to work independently and collaborativelyTell employers what skills you have
