Roles & Responsibilities

About the Company

Our client is a well-established international group with diversified operations across the Asia-Pacific region. The Singapore site serves as a key logistics and distribution hub, supporting the movement of high-quality industrial products to regional markets.

This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by managing orders efficiently, maintaining clear communication, and coordinating seamlessly across internal teams. The role ensures order accuracy, timely delivery, and compliance with company standards, contributing to operational excellence and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle the full order-to-delivery process, ensuring accuracy in purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation, while keeping customers updated on status.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, resolving inquiries and service issues promptly. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and distributors, collaborating closely with sales and supply chain teams to meet customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery, resolve shipment or transport issues, and maintain compliance with all export / import documentation through effective collaboration with freight forwarders and third-party logistics partners.
  • Prepare regular reports on customer service metrics, such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and complaint resolution, while supporting process improvements and assisting in the development of customer service SOPs.

Key Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service or order management, preferably in lubricants, chemicals, or FMCG industries.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience handling exports / imports and documentation (LCs, shipping, customs).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Japanese language proficiency (written and spoken) is required to liaise effectively with regional stakeholders.
