about the job

As a Senior Automation QA Engineer , you will play a crucial role in the product development lifecycle, focusing on designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies . Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for software, hardware, and data integration. This includes l eading the creation of automated test scripts for various testing types (functional, regression, integration, performance). You'll also be instrumental in integrating automated tests with CI / CD pipelines , mentoring manual testers to promote an automation-first approach , and continuously improving the testing process with new strategies and tools

skills and experience required

• A tertiary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in automation development.
• Must be proficient in the Python programming language.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and / or Appium (for iOS and Android platforms).
• Demonstrated experience integrating test automation into CI / CD pipelines. Experience working within an Agile / Scrum development process.
• Domain knowledge in FinTech, Trading, Blockchain technologies, capital markets technology, or financial payments technology is a strong advantage
