Job Purpose And Scope
- Serve as primary business leader for Vascular business in Singapore, Brunei and strategic markets of Cambodia and Laos
- Role is based in Singapore and has travel to Brunei, Cambodia and Laos as needed for business and some business travel for key meetings and conferences. The role reports into General Manager, South East Asia
Key Responsibilities
Manage full business P&L and lead direct reports in functional areas (sales, marketing) and dotted line with Finance, Customer Service, Regulatory Affairs, Quality AffairsAchieve revenue and profit targets through market specific strategiesEstablish and execute strategies and devise incentive / marketing programs to drive market leadership across all product groupsDrive adoption of both established and new products and therapiesSeek out new, untapped markets and opportunities and convert them into revenueFoster strong relationships with key decision makers within Singapore market including customers, distributors, key government agencies, industry groups, and other internal stakeholdersProvide leadership and direction to the team and channel partners (distributors)Draft contracts and devise incentive / marketing programs to drive market leadership across all product groupsEnsure compliance and ethical business practices.Develop strong organizational culture and infrastructure to support long-term successOrganization includes Vascular Coronary sales and marketing teams in Singapore and a close collaboration with the endovascular team in Singapore market.Position is also required to assess Cambodia and Laos market revenue opportunities and establish a roadmap to establishing a business in these markets with appropriate channel partnersRequirements
Business acumen, basic financial and business analysis, strategy developmentExcellent spoken and written of English and local languageIT savvy and knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word and PowerPointBusiness Planning, Sales Forecasting and ReportingBachelor’s Degree or equivalent with similar business experience; MBA preferred.10+ years of relevant commercial experience with at least 5 years at management / sales leadership levelProven people management experience, preferably with building, leading, coaching, and motivating a sales team towards successExperience working for large, multinational companies; experience working within Singapore market is preferred along with understanding of other SEA markets.
