Head of IT

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned and strategic Head of IT to lead our technology function across infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity. This is a critical leadership role responsible for building a secure, reliable, and scalable IT environment to support our business growth and digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of enterprise infrastructure including LAN, servers, wireless networks, and cloud platforms.
  • Ensure system reliability, uptime, and performance across all technology layers.

Applications & Databases

  • Lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of core software applications and databases.
  • Drive system integration, performance optimization, and user experience enhancements.

    • Cybersecurity

  • Establish and maintain robust, multi-layered IT security frameworks (endpoint, network, application, and cloud).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and data protection requirements.

    • Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and execute IT strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing IT team across multiple domains.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendors, and technology roadmaps to ensure operational efficiency and scalability.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in IT leadership, covering infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure (LAN / server / wireless / cloud), enterprise software, databases, and IT security.
  • Experience working in regulated environments with an understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Background in Insurance, Financial Institutions, or Fintech is strongly preferred.
