About the Internship Programme
Clarksons Research is recruiting current university students to join our team in Singapore on a work internship programme. Built around on-the-job training, the internship is an excellent opportunity for students to learn about an exciting and dynamic industry. The successful candidate will conduct primary and secondary research on the shipping, offshore and infrastructure markets, and support the research team in Singapore more broadly in other areas of the business. Job Requirement Candidate Requirements
• University students studying for a degree in Business, Economics, Maritime, or related discipline in a numerate or analytical field are preferred but not essential.
• Commercial awareness of the maritime, offshore industries and seaborne-commodity sectors is preferred.
• Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail, able to work with substantial and wide-ranging data sets.
• Exceptional literacy and analytical skills, with the ability to analyse and present information in a clear and coherent manner.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English), with additional knowledge of second Asian language being an advantage.
• Proficient in standard software applications used for data storage, analysis and publishing. This includes Microsoft Office, Powerpoint and Excel.

This is a part-time internship during the school term, and the successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 2 days a week throughout the internship period, with the potential for extension during vacation.
