Job description

We are hiring a Robotics Maintenance Technician to handle daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repair of robotic equipment at the port. No formal degree or certification is required. We welcome candidates with hands-on maintenance experience who are eager to learn new technologies and comfortable working in outdoor environments.

Job Responsibilities :

Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in robotic systems
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns to minimize equipment downtime
  • Support and monitor external contractors and service providers

Maintenance Planning and Optimization

  • Assist in predictive maintenance planning based on equipment data such as temperature or vibration
  • Help manage spare parts inventory and improve availability using ABC classification
  • Participate in reliability improvement projects and suggest solutions to recurring issues

    • Team Training and Knowledge Sharing

  • Attend company-led training to learn robotic maintenance skills such as arm calibration and sensor replacement
  • Help share technical knowledge with team members
  • Provide feedback on team capabilities and assist in maintaining skill records

    • Data Recording and Reporting

  • Record repair activities and spare parts usage
  • Assist in preparing monthly maintenance reports including MTTR and MTBF
  • Suggest process or design improvements to reduce breakdowns and maintenance costs

    • Job Requirements :

  • At least 2 years of experience in equipment or machinery maintenance such as production lines or logistics equipment
  • Experience with electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems is an advantage
  • No prior robotics experience is required but must be willing to learn
  • Strong hands-on skills and familiar with basic tools such as multimeter and wrench
  • Able to read simple English manuals and write basic reports
  • Physically fit and able to work in outdoor or port environments including climbing and working in tight spaces
  • Eager to learn and take initiative without waiting for instructions
  • Detail-oriented and responsible in preventing repair errors
