AVEVA’s Corporate Strategy & Planning team provides strategic oversight to the Executive Leadership operating cadence, delivers corporate strategy as well as market / competitive / performance intelligence capabilities to the company, and functions as a think tank for the CEO.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization.The Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy & Planning will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, conducting in-depth analysis, and providing valuable insights to drive key decision-making processes. This role requires a candidate with a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and consultative approach to contribute to the accelerated growth and success of AVEVA’s ongoing transformation.

The right candidate will have the :

  • Consultative approach, analytical acumen, and knowledge of tech industry best practices, in order to dive deeply into ambiguity and rapidly frame and problem solve
  • Entrepreneurial temperament to roll up the sleeves and build / produce on own, and be resourceful – as this is an individual contributor role in a lean team
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in orchestrating geographically dispersed teams to deliver results in an agile fashion

Key responsibilities include :

  • Ownership and delivery of select CEO initiatives, such as performance reporting and executive presentations development, as well as ad hoc strategic requests for research and analysis.
  • Conduct comprehensive business analysis to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights, create actionable recommendations, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities, assess market dynamics, and formulate strategic recommendations.
  • Track market, competitive, industry trends and advancements to contribute insights and enhance strategic decisions.

    • Qualifications :

  • 13+ years’ work experience in multi-national, matrixed, tech companies; preferably in SaaS or Cloud Service Provider organizations
  • Inclusive of minimum 5 years in Management Consulting or IT Consulting
  • Inclusive of minimum 8 years in a Strategy, Planning & Operations function
  • Ability to conduct hands-on analysis of complex data, deriving critical insights, and translating into executive deliverables [Note : 2 redacted work samples required for submission, after candidate passes the 1st interview with hiring manager – 1 in Excel, 1 in PPT]
  • Expert level in Excel, proficient in Power BI
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong written and presentation development skills for executive communication
  • Strong prioritization skills, driving multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to set up / structure, orchestrate, and successfully deliver globally-dispersed, cross-functional strategic initiatives across business and technology stakeholders
  • Ability to operate and adapt successfully in a lean, fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • MBA preferred
