Summary
The candidate will be responsible for IT support and projects delivery of SAP Ariba implementation, managing established project goals and objectives, developing and implementing project management guidelines, managing project standards, project scope, timeline, risk identification and mitigation, quality management, project budget, reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. He / she needs to work closely with the user community, external vendors, and other stakeholders.
What will you do?
Project Management
- Participate in the overall successful delivery of SAP Ariba project
- Participate in the delivery of projects to ensure that project targets are met. This includes, amongst others, conducting user requirement analysis, participating in solution design, planning and executing testing, deploying solution to ‘live’ etc.
- Involves in defining technology roadmaps and solution enabled by SAP
- Creates and / or reviews project artefacts and deliverables to ensure quality and guidelines and polices are met.
- Support procurement activities, including amongst others, preparation and publishing tender specifications, evaluating and recommending potential solutions and / or vendors, contract management etc.
- Liaises closely with business users and builds good rapport
- Liaises closely with vendors to ensure successful delivery of products and / or services in accordance to contract. This includes liaison with the SAP AMS support team.
- Coordinate with teams that are integrating other applications (inclusive SAP S / 4 Hana, SAP BPC and SuccessFactors) into SAP Ariba
Maintenance and Support
Accountable for the overall successful provision of on-going application maintenance and support to ensure SLAs are met.Oversees and / or provides maintenance and support of applications, including amongst others, delivery of enhancements and bug fixes, managing service requests, troubleshooting of problems etc.Creates, updates and / or reviews systems artefacts and deliverables to ensure quality and guidelines and polices are met.Performs systems and data analysis including analysing existing system / program logic difficulties, and revising the logic and procedures as necessary.Handles audit queries, and ensures audit and security compliance are met.Liaise closely with business users and build good rapportLiaise closely with vendors to ensure successful provision of support and maintenance in accordance to contract. This includes liaison with the SAP AMS support team.The ideal candidate should possess :
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalentAt least 10 years within IT industry, inclusive of at least 5 years in SAP Ariba, and at least 3 years’ experience in project management inclusive of one or more complete cycles for large scale IT project implementation, preferably in SAP Ariba.Knowledge of the following systems and modules will be required : SAP Ariba (Buying, Sourcing & Contract Mgmt modules)Knowledge in one or more of the following systems and modules will be an added advantage : SAP Ariba (Ariba Network, Discovery 2.0 and Supplier Lifecycle Performance – SLP) and S / 4Hana for MM module- Purchasing and Invoicing)Familiar in the Procurement and Finance related business domains.Able to provide support for non-SAP procurement related systemGood grasp of IT technologies, methodologies, architectures, and best practices.Strong business process and analytical skills with the ability to assimilate information quickly, and communicate complex requirements and issues clearly and concisely. The ability to understand the business questions that users are trying to answer is essential.Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management, users and vendorsMust be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimum supervisionMust be a good team player, proactive in nature, fast learner, highly organized and positive attitudeCertification in PMP or SAP Activate will be an added advantage.Experience in Higher Education industry is a bonus.Additional information
