Overview

A prominent multinational engineering firm with ongoing high-impact projects in Singapore is seeking a seasoned BIM Manager to lead and oversee BIM implementation for critical infrastructure assignments, particularly in collaboration with government-linked waterworks and utilities stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary link between design consultants, clients, and project teams, ensuring seamless information flow and coordination.
  • Oversee BIM execution plans and provide leadership to a team of BIM Coordinators.
  • Conduct and lead 3D coordination and review meetings, ensuring effective design integration and decision-making alignment.
  • Define and manage BIM standards, templates, model structures, and data folder protocols tailored to specific project needs.
  • Audit deliverables and workflows, troubleshoot non-compliances, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Support the development and delivery of key project outputs including 4D simulations, virtual mock-ups, and clash reports.
  • Lead monthly BIM meetings, drive updates, and facilitate model walkthroughs and issue resolution.
  • Prepare and enforce QC plans, digital review protocols, and cost estimation simulations (5D) in alignment with project timelines.
  • Collaborate with tech and IT teams on hardware acquisition to support BIM demands.
  • Manage the BIM implementation budget, including cost tracking and reporting.
  • Maintain alignment with latest industry standards and national BIM guidelines.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
  • A Specialist Diploma in BIM is advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of BIM experience, including large-scale infrastructure or M&E-heavy projects.
  • Strong command of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Microsoft Office, and preferably Bentley-based solutions.
  • Experience in leading BIM teams and stakeholder coordination in a client-facing role.
  • Excellent attention to detail, report writing skills, and visual presentation of model data.
