We're looking for a Key Account Manager with a proven track record in sales and relationship management to grow strategic accounts and acquire high-value merchants. You'll be a trusted partner to clients, delivering innovative digital payment solutions-including our cross-border QR payment network-while consistently driving revenue and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow Accounts : Deepen relationships with existing merchants and partners to exceed revenue targets.
- Acquire New Business : Prospect, pitch, and onboard new merchants across Singapore and the region.
- Strategic Selling : Cross-sell and upsell Liquid Group's payment solutions, from cross-border QR payments to POS and online gateways.
- Data-Driven Management : Monitor sales performance, profitability, and account health using analytics and MIS reports.
- Operational Excellence : Resolve issues promptly, manage invoicing, and track outstanding payments.
- Market Expertise : Stay ahead of fintech trends-BNPL, CBDCs, QR adoption-to bring fresh insights to clients.
What We're Looking For
Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (or strong passion for fintech).4-5 years' experience in sales / account management, ideally in payments or merchant acquiring.Proven track record in driving account growth and meeting / exceeding sales targets.Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage at all levels of a large organisation.Basic technical knowledge and familiarity with payments operations.Working knowledge of national payment networks, mobile payment apps, merchant acquiring and credit card business preferred.Strong analytical and financial skills.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Leadership qualities and a collaborative team player.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Fluency in English and Mandarin, with strong business writing skills.Basic knowledge of fraud management and merchant risk assessment (preferred).Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) a plus-training provided.
