Indoor Sales Executive / Customer Service | Freight forwarding

Job Scope
Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, ensuring high service standards.
Liaise with overseas offices and agents to coordinate quotations, bookings and shipment execution.
Handle import / export inquiries and bookings across sea, air and land transport modes.
Activate shipments based on confirmed selling rates and cost structures.
Collaborate closely with sales personnel to ensure smooth handover and operational follow through.
Source and maintain competitive rates from hauliers, shipping lines, co -loaders, overseas agents and subcontractors.
Monitor sales performance and contribute to forecasting and pipeline tracking.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and vendors.
Establish and manage client-specific standing orders or SOPs for recurring shipments.
Working closely with internal departments (Sales, Operations, Finance) and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
Check and verify incoming job-related invoices before submission to the Finance Department.
Uphold all company policies including compliance, regulatory requirements, HSSE&Q standards, and Code of Business Conduct.
Stay informed on industry trends, freight regulations, and market developments.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Propose and implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency and customer
Requirements
At least 3 years of relevant experience in the freight forwarding industry
Very good proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel etc.)
