Roles & Responsibilities
As a Digital Business Analyst, you will collaborate with fellow project managers, business analysts, solution architects and technical services consultants to deliver leading-edge digital solutions. You are a pro-active, self-motivated and resourceful team member with good tech / digital knowledge and possess strong influencing and people handling skills. You are also adept at balancing multiple projects oncurrently while constantly looking for new ways to apply digital technologies to meet identified client and business needs. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. The ability to effectively engage and manage project stakeholders and business partners is a must. Success in the role will be demonstrated by your ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Apply Design Thinking / Service Design methodology and tools to identify current state gaps and challenges, and develop future state design and solutions
- Evaluate and recommend suitable technology while aligning with technology directions (such as cloud-based, enterprise architecture and modernization of legacy systems)
- Identify and adopt the appropriate development and delivery approach
- Work with fellow team member to develop user stories, functional / technical specifications and acceptance criteria
- Ensure product readiness for smooth deployment, adoption and operations
- Analyse impact of requested changes and propose improvements to continuously address changing business needs, and work with support team to understand and address technical problems (Operations Management)
- Assist the CIO to identify new opportunities and problems to solve for the client's digital transformation
- Build deep knowledge of client’s business and operations and identify opportunities to support the transformation of client's business / operation
- Identify potential project risks and its implication to the organisation and to recommend mitigating measures so as to manage the risks
- Effectively engage and manage the vendors to deliver ICT solutions and services
- Understand the IT management policy, quality management policy and security guidelines to ensure the development processes, procedures and system are designed to comply with these policies and guidelines
What we are looking for
Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering or related disciplinesAt least 5 years relevant working experience in a similar capacity (advantageous to have had some Consulting, Software Development and Design experience)Strong portfolio that demonstrates proven, hands-on experience working in Agile approach on Product-centric teamsWorking knowledge of AI tools and conceptsStrong analytical, conceptualisation, facilitation and problem-solving skills, in particular with application in Discovery sessions and prototyping.Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills with ability to influence and pitch ideasA driven and motivated personality with the ability to rapidly learn, apply and executeExperience in Project Management and Product Management is a plusMotivated by innovation to achieve business goals and customer satisfactionExcellent written, verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skillsTell employers what skills you have
